A navy badge with medals presented to a soldier who fought with the Duke of Wellington in 1815 has been determined. The medals had been located in their original field in Derbyshire and will be auctioned later this month. Together with several grand crosses, the brooch with the medals belonged to Viscount Hill, Charles Hanson of Hanson’s Auctioneers stated.

On January 6, 1945, Moss sailed throughout the Atlantic Ocean and anchored in Naples, Italy, on January 18th.
